Description

ON HOON SHELL ROAD, A FEW STEPS FROM THE SEA.

Tucked along Hoon Shell Road, a quiet cul-de-sac off Surfside Road in Palmas del Mar, this contemporary residence enjoys a location that is increasingly difficult to find: a home at beach level, just steps from a small sandy cove known mostly to neighboring residents and locals.

Here, proximity to the ocean is the real distinction. The beach isn’t a distant view from a hillside, but part of the immediate surroundings. You can hear the waves, feel the coastal breeze, and walk to the sand in moments, while enjoying the quiet residential character of one of Palmas del Mar’s established seaside neighborhoods.

Built in 2023, the residence offers approximately 4,473 square feet of gross living area, complemented by generous covered terraces, substantial parking accommodations and a full power generator. Double-height living areas, soaring ceilings, and expansive glass doors and windows bring natural light into the interiors and frame views of the surrounding tropical greenery. A sculptural natural wood staircase adds warmth and character, while the spacious kitchen features paneled appliances, custom cabinetry, and porcelain slab countertops.

The main residence includes three bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom and walk-in closet, including a generous primary suite with private terrace access. A fourth full bathroom conveniently serves the main living and entertaining areas. An additional guest studio, attached to the residence but accessed independently from the exterior, includes its own full bathroom and provides flexibility for visitors, a home office, or other uses.

The grounds remain largely open, presenting an opportunity to develop an outdoor environment suited to the next owner’s preferences. An architect-prepared landscape and pool concept illustrates one possible direction, with tropical gardens, outdoor living areas, and water features envisioned to complement the home. These improvements are conceptual, are not included in the present condition, and would be subject to applicable approvals.

Within Palmas del Mar, residents enjoy golf, tennis, a marina, equestrian facilities, dining, and an established coastal community. Yet the particular appeal of this address is found closer to home: the quiet of Hoon Shell Road and the extraordinary convenience of having the shoreline just steps away.
